Hi School Family! My name is Breanna Hogan, and I am the preschool teacher for your child's class. I have been passionate about early childhood education for 9 years, and I have been teaching at ELC for 8 of those years. I have a CDA and Orton-Gillingham training, which has helped me develop a passion for teaching struggling readers. I also specialize in social emotional growth and development.

I believe that social emotional learning (SEL) is an essential part of early childhood education. SEL is not a separate subject like science or math, but it is intertwined into the fiber of our school. I use my SEL knowledge to create academic lessons that are more personal and relatable to students. I believe that connection is key in preschool, and my goal is to make sure that all of my students feel safe, loved, and valued as members of our school family.
